- Apple has revealed the release window for Ted Lasso season 4
- The popular show will land on the tech giant's streaming service in mid-2026
- It'll see the titular soccer coach return to Richmond to coach its women's team
It's time to start believing once more, folks, because Apple has confirmed that Ted Lasso will return for its fourth season later this year.
The multi-award winning sports dramady, whose next installment is still being filmed – at the time of publication, anyway – is set to make its Apple TV debut sometime in mid-2026.
Apple confirmed as much in a press blast sent out today (January 28). And, with next season's English Premier League kicking off on August 22, and the 2026/27 English Women's Super League likely beginning in September, Ted Lasso 4 landing between late August and early September would be perfect timing for fans of the Jason Sudeikis-fronted program in the country in which it's set.

As well as unveiling Ted Lasso season 4's launch window, the tech giant also dropped some new first-look images, which you can view in the gallery above. Apple also reiterated what we can expect from the hugely popular show's next chapter via a brief plot synopsis, too.
"In season four, Ted returns to Richmond, taking on his biggest challenge yet: coaching a second division women’s football team," the logline reads. "Throughout the course of the season, Ted and the team learn to leap before they look, taking chances they never thought they would."
Joining Sudeikis' eponymous character on the returning-cast front are Hannah Waddingham as Rebecca Welton, Juno Temple as Keeley Jones, Brett Goldstein as Roy Kent, Brendan Hunt as Coach Beard, Jeremy Swift as Leslie Higgins, Grant Feely as Henry Lasso, and Annette Badland as Mae Green.
Newcomers-wise, season 4 will introduce us to characters played by Tanya Reynolds (Sex Education), Jude Mack (Waiting for the Out), Faye Marsey (Andor), Rex Hayes (The Pact), Aisling Sharkey (Jurassic World: Dominion), and Abbie Hern (Peaky Blinders). The identities of their characters, though, are yet to be revealed.
Ted Lasso season 4 was officially announced in March 2025 after months of rumors that another installment was in the works. Four months later, Apple confirmed filming was underway on Ted Lasso 4, which ended up being the last update we'd received on the series' highly anticipated next entry.
